Set in a serene, secluded location between Santa Barbara and Montecito, the cottage overlooks the Pacific Ocean and Santa Barbara Bird Refuge. Five minutes to the beaches and downtown, the location offers the perfect getaway with rare tranquility, yet is very much in the center of things. Eucalyptus Cottage
This truly magical cottage is set in about one-half acre of serene privacy. The cottage has a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean and is outfitted with every luxury amenity you would expect in a fabulous vacation home.
Views
There are expansive views of the Pacific Ocean from nearly all locations on the property. To the left is the view of Santa Barbara Bird Refuge and Channel Islands. Below is the view toward the mountains.
Cottage Living Room
The large living room features wood floors and an oriental carpet, a classic Italian fireplace and state-of-the-art media center, including wireless Internet service. The room takes full advantage of the ocean view.
Kitchen
The Craftsman-style kitchen is equipped with the latest commercial appliances -- Wolf dual-fuel range, Sub-Zero refrigerator and Miele dishwasher. With sparkling travertine floors, the kitchen is fully outfitted with every conceivable amenity you will need to prepare and serve gourmet meals (or just afternoon snacks).
Master Bedroom
The large master bedroom with cathedral-beam ceiling has a king-size bed with sliding glass doors that lead to the main terrace. The bedroom is outfitted with the finest linens and has a beautiful and luxurious private bath.
Second Bedroom
This bedroom has expansive ocean views, a separate bathroom and patio. The bedroom has travertine floors, oriental carpets and a queen bed with the finest linens. A writing desk overlooks the many garden areas outside, a perfect place for morning coffee.
Allée
An allée adjoins the second bedroom and leads to the lush backyard with many species of flowering plants and trees, including the beautiful Chinese elm shown in the photo. A seating area and small fountain are at the ocean side of the allée.
Main Terrace and Waterfall
A large, travertine-surfaced terrace is located mid-way between the main cottage and guest house. The terrace, next to the waterfall and a small rose garden, has its own stunning view of the Pacific Ocean. A wonderful place for breakfast or afternoon cocktails. A waterfall flows across the center of the property, goes under a bridge and ends at a pond adjacent to the terrace. The waterfall adds a wonderful component to the idyllic setting.
Guest House Bedroom 1
Your guests (or extended family) will not be disappointed with their accommodations. The sumptuous main bedroom in the guest house features a queen-size bed with the finest linens, a luxurious seating area and an adjacent kitchenette. The guest house also has an LCD TV and DVD player and all the comforts of home.
Guest House Bedroom 2
The second bedroom in the guest house features a queen-size bed with the finest linens. Patio doors lead to a small garden and private seating area outside.
